A digital assistant that sleeps along with your season

Closed for part of the year? Then you do not pay the full price in those months. You put your digital assistant into sleep mode for € 19 per month. Your server, knowledge base and settings stay stored, and as soon as the season starts, you switch sleep mode off and it works again immediately. No new set-up fee, the first two months do not start again and there is nothing to fill in again.

Who is this for?

For every business with a busy season and a quiet period. During the season the digital assistant answers your guests' and customers' questions day and night. Outside it, the digital assistant sleeps, at a fraction of the price.

  • Campsites and holiday parks

    From Easter to the autumn holidays the questions pour in: arrival times, pets, electricity, cancellations. In winter it is quiet. Then the digital assistant sleeps along.

  • Beach clubs and terraces

    Reservations, opening hours in bad weather, parties and groups: in summer the digital assistant answers them all. Close your doors in October, and the digital assistant closes with you.

  • Garden centres, winter sports and events

    A nursery that peaks in spring, a ski rental that only runs in winter, a festival that sells tickets three months a year. Every seasonal rhythm fits.

How sleep mode works

1. You switch it onIn Mijn Chatunda, under Abonnement en kosten (Subscription and costs), you switch sleep mode on. An e-mail to info@chatunda.com is also possible. Sleep mode starts in the first subscription month that has not yet been invoiced and applies per full subscription month.
2. It sleepsThe digital assistant is switched off. Your server, knowledge base, design and settings stay exactly as they were. You pay € 19 per month including VAT through your usual direct debit, and no add-ons.
3. You switch it offThe season starts. You switch sleep mode off in Mijn Chatunda and your digital assistant works again immediately, with everything it already knew. An e-mail is also possible.
4. Simply carry onFrom that month you pay € 199 per month again. No set-up fee, the first two months do not start again and no questionnaire to fill in again.

A worked example

Say you are open from April to September and closed from October to March. Then a normal year looks like this.

    Six months × € 199. The digital assistant is on, everything included, answering your guests' questions.

    Six months × € 19. The digital assistant sleeps, everything stays stored, you pay no add-ons.

    Instead of € 2,388 if the digital assistant were on all year. And there is nothing to set up again.

All amounts include VAT. In the first year your third month is at no cost, as it is for everyone. Sleep mode has no maximum duration. You decide how long it lasts.

Frequently asked questions about sleep mode

What is kept during sleep mode?

Everything. Your own server, your knowledge base with all your answers, the design of your chat window and your settings. The digital assistant is simply switched off. As soon as it is back on, it knows exactly what it knew before.

How long can the digital assistant sleep?

As long as you like, there is no maximum duration. You still receive your monthly report every month, so sleep mode never slips your mind. You decide when to switch it off again in Mijn Chatunda, or whether to cancel. Not sure? Feel free to e-mail us, we are happy to think along with you.

Can I pause for just a few weeks?

Sleep mode applies per full subscription month, so a pause of a few weeks is not possible. But a digital assistant that is on costs you nothing extra per conversation. If you close for a few weeks, you can simply leave it running, or have it give a different message for a while. You schedule that in advance with a start and end date, at no extra cost.

Do I keep paying for add-ons during sleep mode?

No. In a sleep month only the € 19 sleep mode appears on your invoice. Second language, Contact plus, Live agent, Order status or Product info are charged again only from the month in which the digital assistant is on. Your settings for them are kept.

How is sleep mode paid?

Just like your normal month: through the direct debit you have already authorised, around the same day of the month. You receive an invoice of € 19 including VAT by e-mail in advance.

Can I use sleep mode every year?

Yes. Every season again, as often as you like. As the owner you switch it on and off yourself in Mijn Chatunda, under Abonnement en kosten (Subscription and costs), or with one e-mail to info@chatunda.com. If you pay annually, we arrange sleep mode with you via Hulp en contact (Help and contact).

Can I submit changes during sleep mode?

Yes. New prices, different opening hours or a new offer for the coming season: simply e-mail them to info@chatunda.com. We process them, so your digital assistant wakes up fully updated.
